The gold level of mentor coaching is designed for coaches who want a high-level review of their coaching and alignment with the ICF Core Competencies. This option is suitable for coaches at any credential level who want a tangible takeaway from each session, including estimated performance ratings on each of the behavioral statements and the primary areas of strengths and growth without going deeply into every nuance.

How does gold mentor coaching work?

• Send to Matthew a recorded coaching session, between 20-45 minutes, in which you coach someone else on a topic unrelated to coaching or business-building. 
• Obtain or create a transcript (word for word, sound for sound) with timestamps of the recorded session. Please discuss with Matthew how to partner to create sufficient transcripts.
• For each recording, Matthew prepares a document outlining the assessment criteria for the coach’s target credential (e.g., ACC BARS, PCC Markers, MCC BARS). Each criterion (behavioral statement or marker) is assigned a score that assessors use. The document also includes a written narrative highlighting 2—3 areas of strength and 2—3 areas for growth.
• After receiving the feedback, schedule a 60-minute mentor coaching session to review your recorded coaching session and live feedback.
• Note: I do not facilitate mentor coaching sessions where you coach me and I give feedback, or where I coach you and you share your observations. You must bring a recorded coaching session.

Timeline

The following timelines begin upon purchase.

• 1 session = two (2) calendar months to complete the hour.
• 2 sessions = four (4) calendar months to complete the sessions
• 3 sessions = six (6) calendar months to complete the sessions.
• 5 sessions = eight (8) calendar months to complete the sessions.
• 10 sessions = twelve (12) calendar months to complete the sessions.

Limitations: Please submit only one recording at a time. If a subsequent recording is submitted without completing the debrief for the current recording, the debrief for the current recording is forfeited.
